Scribe includes AI-powered features (collectively, "Scribe AI") that let you ask questions about your trades and receive insights, summaries, and general information. This disclosure explains how Scribe AI works, what it can and cannot do, and the important limitations you should keep in mind.
Scribe AI does not provide financial advice. Its responses are generated by automated systems for informational and educational purposes only and must not be relied upon as financial, investment, tax, or trading advice. How Scribe AI Works
When you use Scribe AI, your question and relevant information from your account (such as a summary of the trades you have logged) are sent to a third-party AI provider that generates a response. Scribe AI may also use web search to retrieve current information when answering certain questions. Information retrieved through web search comes from third-party sources that we do not independently verify. The responses you receive are produced by a large language model, a type of automated system that generates text based on patterns in data.
What Scribe AI Can Do
- Summarize and analyze the trades you have recorded in your journal.
- Help you identify patterns in your own trading history.
- Answer general questions about trading concepts and terminology.
- Retrieve current market information through web search when relevant.
Important Limitations
- It can be wrong. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. Always verify important information independently.
- It is not advice. Scribe AI does not know your full financial situation and does not provide personalized financial, investment, or tax recommendations. AI responses are not: a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, cryptocurrency, or other asset; a recommendation to pursue any trading strategy; or research sufficient for making investment decisions.
- It analyzes what you give it. Insights about your trades are based only on the data you have entered, which may be incomplete or contain errors.
- It does not execute trades. Scribe AI is purely informational and cannot place, modify, or manage any trades or positions.
- Responses aren't updated. A response reflects information at the time it was generated; we have no obligation to update or correct it if information later changes or proves inaccurate.
- Markets are uncertain. No analysis of past trades can predict future results. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
No Predictions or Projections
Scribe AI analyzes your past trades — and past performance does not predict future results. AI responses are not intended to project performance, imply that past results will recur, or forecast market outcomes. Any illustrative or hypothetical figures in a response are for informational purposes only and are not guarantees.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make. Scribe AI is a tool to help you reflect on and understand your own trading; it is not a substitute for professional advice or your own judgment. Never make a trading or investment decision based solely on an AI-generated response.
Scribe AI Is Not a Support Channel
The AI chat is not an official channel for support requests, complaints, billing issues, or account requests. Messages sent to Scribe AI are not reviewed by our team as support inquiries. For any support need, contact us at support@scribetrading.com.
Data and Privacy
To generate responses, Scribe AI transmits relevant account information and your messages to a third-party AI provider. We send only what is needed to answer your request. Your AI conversations may be logged and retained to operate, debug, and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
